I travel a lot, and I think Old Royal Post may legitimately be the best place I’ve ever stayed. The location was incredible, steps away from the Charles Bridge but on the quieter side and somehow still tucked away and peaceful. The room was basically a little apartment with every amenity we could want, including a washing machine! Downstairs was an excellent restaurant, Mondieu, which we ate at almost every day for breakfast. SO GOOD. The beds were comfy, the shower had great pressure. Honestly I couldn’t find fault with it.

The Old Royal Post hotel is exceptional. It’s literally a 5 minute walk from Charles Bridge, so you have easy access to amenities and the central hub of Prague. The staff were delightful, they were extremely helpful whilst being warm and welcoming. The apartment itself completely surpassed our expectations, it was beautifully decorated, clean and spacious - with all the amenities you’d require to make you stay very relaxing. Couldn’t recommend enough and this’ll definitely be our go-to location for any future Prague visits.

The location was phenomenal. You are literally a few minutes walk to Charles Bridge. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. Every staff member we talked to was friendly and we even received a text mid way through our stay asking if there was anything staff could do to make our stay better. There is also a wonderful restaurant attached to the hotel that we utilized for breakfast, lunch & dinner. The service was excellent,food was very good, and it was reasonably priced. All in all, a fantastic stay!

Absolutely fantastic stay! The hotel is tucked away in a quiet corner of Malá Strana, yet just around the corner you’re right in the heart of the hustle and bustle, with many shops, restaurants, public transport, and the Charles Bridge all within a few minutes’ walk. Our junior suite with balcony was beautifully decorated and well-equipped, with a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, kettle, and coffee machine (coffee, tea, dishwasher tablets, and laundry detergent all provided). The main bed was large and comfortable, as were the duvets and blankets. The bathroom was a good size as well, featuring a spacious walk-in shower and fluffy towels, along with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap. Everything was very clean and clearly well maintained. Reception staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property!

Really great apartment with friendly, professional and accommodating staff. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Our rooms also had a small kitchenette and laundry facilities. Honestly can't complain. The price to value ratio was excellent, in many other capital European you'd pay more for a smaller and less convenient room. The location was also very good, as it was close to many restaurants, in walking distance to the castle and bridge, and accessible by car. If we were to come back to Prague we would most likely check this place first for rooms.

The highlight of our stay was, without a doubt, the incredible staff. The receptionists were exceptionally helpful and available 24 hours, making us feel looked after from the moment we checked in. They provided fantastic recommendations for local spots, helped with transfers, and handled every request with a genuine smile. The hotel's location is perfect; tucked away on a quiet street but just a few minutes' walk from the Charles Bridge and Old Town Square. Our room was beautifully designed, spotless, and provided a lovely, peaceful retreat.

Wonderful location in Mala Strana. A three minute walk to Charles Bridge and surprisingly quiet. Near great restaurants, wine bars, Czech National Museum of Music, the city park, a jazz bar and a market on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We stayed in a suite on the top floor facing the square. Our room did not have a balcony opening onto the hotel's inner courtyard, but the view of the square on rainy Spring days, and the original beamed ceilings more than made up for the lack of a balcony. We used the kitchen and it was perfect for breakfasts and simple meals. Everything was new at the time of our stay. Great closet space for unpacking. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

Absolutely everthing! Perfect location to easily explore the beauty of Prague. A few minutes walk away from Charles Bridge in a not so overcrowded neighbourhood with lovely eatieries all around where locals also hang out. The staff is really helpful and accommodating (they stored our bicycles safely) and their service excellent and friendly. The apartment is beautiful (we had room 214) and spacious and overlooked the little square. The bathroom is huge with a walk in shower, lovely products and fluffy towels. It is serviced daily and coffee and tea is replenished. A grocery store with fresh products is right around the corner and the kitchen is well-equipped should you wish to cook a meal. The washing machine is also an enormous plus. All together a perfect stay, one of the best we have come across in our recent travels. Cannot wait to recommend it to others or to visit again. T

We loved everything about our stay! From the first greeting by the receptionist to check out. Incredible apartment with beautiful decor and modern kitchen bathrooms and electronics. AC in both bedrooms. All the staff members we encountered were super service minded and positive! (We experienced that staff in restaurants, shops were not particularly service minded in prauge) The location can't get any better! We were 4 adults and two children, and the apartment was very spacious. The Bistro and café was top-notch. Great service as well. We absolutely recommend Old Royal post! The price for the stay was great as well! Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay! 👏

The location was perfect, the bed was super comfortable, and the size of the accommodation was a lovely surprise. Everything was well equipped, even a washing machine (though we didn’t need it this time). The restaurant downstairs was excellent; we had breakfast there most days, and would happily have tried more if Prague itself wasn’t full of amazing food spots. The staff were brilliant, always helpful and available when needed. I was a little sceptical about the high rating on Booking.com, but honestly, it deserves a 10!
